Andrew showed up Sunday and we have been enjoying his company. Yesterday we all rode bikes to downtown StSimons. Last night we played games with Stacy.
Today we went over to Jekyll Island. Walked Driftwood beach and saw the Christmas lights!
Although we aren't Canadian, we admire the loon. Having bought a loon mat for our camper, when we park our camper at the next campsite, we have landed!

We finished up our first week and are on our third day off.
We had a few days of overlap with the volunteers before me so I got caught up fairly quickly.
Oglethorpe ‘s birthday was celebrated on Saturday with music and cider and cookies!
We were able to move into our old spot when the other volunteers left.
We are starting to get settled in. Ross worked some today and I ran some errands. I didn’t get him chips though!
We stopped by a health club that we will probably join soon.
I start work tomorrow.
Our spot so far is a bit far away from the other campers but next to the bunkhouse.
We made it to the island and got set up.
Today we were delayed by a logging truck that had jack knifed and lost a lot of its load.
Cloudy and a bit moist, but no actual rain.
Got to say hi to family and now are powering down.
Technically we are in Opelika, but people know Auburn.
It is misting and a little cool, but Ross is busy flushing the water lines. Getting rid of all that winterizer.

Woke up kinda early, and got started before 7 am. It was fine at our campsite, but we got into the fog pretty quickly. Nearly an hour and half later , it finally let up.
I took a picture, but it wasn’t terribly clear😜
We ran into a bit of a snag with a dust cap on one of the tires. Ross got it fixed pretty quick.
God has been taking good care of us.
Now we are camped at Graceland, but it’s dark so we can’t see much.
Sunrise in North Platte was also at 8 am. We got started in the dark. We realized that all that snow melt in South Dakota layered quite a bit of dirt on the headlights. We pulled over at an interchange and wiped them down.
We stopped in Kansas at the ball of twine and ate at the nearby cafe.
We finished off our day at Ponca city RV Park and walked over to the house I lived in as an infant.
Ate at El Patio Mexican food which was the “Best Mexican food I have had in a long time.” Ross.
