Asheville

 We made it to Asheville, North Carolina.  Staying in the adjacent National Forest.  Spending the day today at Biltmore Estate.

Croft State Park

 God has been keeping us safe while we travel and are enjoying his creation.  

We arrived at Croft State Patk (South Carolina) yesterday.  Liz went for hikes and Ross rode mountain bike. 

Savannah

 We arrived at Skidaway Island State Park on Monday.  Ross biked one day.  I hiked.  

Yesterday we went to Wormsloe, hiked around, participated in an enactment about Georgia in 1742.   Beautiful place.   

March 20

 Last day in St Simons area.  We went to Cumberland National Seashore today with Ross’ sister Stacy, his mom and her husband Bob.  

’s lighthouse

 Rain, rain, rain!  It finally broke about noon, and out we went!  Visited the lighthouse and WW2 museum.

Went to lunch at Echo, walked the beach, and went for bike rides.  

Thanking God for a nice day and time with family.

st Simon’s island

 We arrived Monday on St Simon’s island.  Visiting Ross’ mom and sister.  Went for a short bike ride today and visited a few stores.  

In Montgomery! March 11

 

Staying at Gunter Hill campground, a corps of Engineers site.  Our son Luke is training in Montgomery so we got to meet up with him for dinner.

 Made it to Birmingham in Oak Mountain State Park.

 We are in Nashville- having walked around downtown, listened to music and eaten barbecue!

Yesterday we saw the Gateway Arch in Saint Louis!

 God has given us beautiful days!  We went for a bike ride and got to see lots of other bicyclists out!

Lunch with some cousins and hanging out with friends!

Tomorrow we leave Lincoln to head to St Louis
