Reunion was fun. Ross got to connect with lots of his old classmates.

Although we aren't Canadian, we admire the loon. Having bought a loon mat for our camper, when we park our camper at the next campsite, we have landed!

We arrived yesterday and had a great dinner with a friend Dawn.
Today we biked downtown, circled the capital and circled Lake Monona.
Ross’ plan today was to bike around Lake Winnebago. 22 miles it started pouring so Liz came to his rescue.
Meant to go to the Oshkosh air show, but ran out of steam.
We have been visiting family and friends. Good conversations!
We move to Madison tomorrow.
Today we kayaked at Whitefish Dunes State Park with a tour guide. We went into a cave and saw a shipwreck under the water. We survived 2.57 miles in a kayak together!
We arrived at Potawatomi State Park yesterday. Today some of Ross’ friends drove up and biked. Liz went to a farmers market and went to Whitefish Dunes State Park and walked along the beach.
We have been spending some good time with Craig and Donna. Donna and Zi did an epic SUP kayak ride in Pickerel lake. The Guys fished and we went to a party at Pickerel Point with a live band.
We moved to Wabeno, Wisconsin in the National Forest on lake Richardson. I took the paddle board out and saw parent lions teaching their young one how to fish.
Ross fished and even caught a few little ones.
This is our second night in Hancock, Michigan. Yesterday Ross and I rode separately. We were both a muddy mess. I even rode a fairly easy rail trail, but it was muddy! Ross rode mountain bike trails.
Today we went up to Copper Harbor. I had a nice hike out to the point. Ross rode some of the mountain bike trails. Then he saw the baby bear. So he turned around.
We checked out the Eagle Harbor light house on the way bzz as k. Went to Fitzgeralds for dinner. It wss awesome!
We had a few nice days in Munising. We did a boat tour to see the cliffs from the water.
Then we hiked out to Mosquito Beach where we tried to pose with one of the mosquitoes.

The next day Ross mountain bikes on Grand Island and Liz hiked some of shore trail.
Picked out an evening service on a church online, went there and apparently their website was incorrect.
Today we moved the camper to Munising. Thanking God for watching over us driving. An impatient person nearly caused a wreck.
We settled in then took a cruise along the Pictured Rocks shoreline. Beautiful day and calm waters.
We finally made it to Mackinaw Island!
Ross and I took our bikes out to Mackinaw Island, and rode around. Tried to dodge lots of horse poop. We ate at the Pink Pony, and went to the forts.
We celebrated the fourth by visiting a former British Fort Michilimackinac. The interpretative staff were awesome and we learned a lot about what was happening in 1780 in the Great Lakes.
We spent the afternoon at the beach at Wilderness State Park. The water is clear and beautiful. We both took out the paddle board. Ross constructed a shade structure for us.
We arrived in Mackinaw City today after 5 nights in Traverse City.

We went to the first day of the Cherry Festival (kinda like a state fair). We saw the thunderbirds perform in an airshow on front row seats by the lake.
